A Childrens stocks and shares isa is an individual savings account for children with which you can hold investments such as stocks and shares.
As with all Junior ISA accounts, the funds are locked away until the child reaches adulthood.
It is many investment experts belief that should you start Childrens ISA at an early age then this will be a more favourable investment as the account has enough time to absorb any dips in the market and long terms stocks and shares investments have usually performed very well over a longer period of time.
Again, as with all Juniors ISA’s, there will be an annual capped allowance and any income earned from any interest occurred will be tax free.
